“I want to thank Rachel for all the wonderful meetings and the positivity she brings to a "diet-culture" world where it can be hard to feel comfortable with the choices we make.

I benefitted greatly from her down-to-earth energy and loving support. Being able to chat in a safe and friendly atmosphere made it enjoyable and exciting to try and accomplish new goals like meal prepping and creating nutritious but also delicious meals. Her ability to keep an environment and topic as sensitive as food choices feeling safe and relaxing was impressive. I appreciated the knowledge and tools Rachel provided me with to help myself feel in control of my choices and eating habits. Overall, an eye opening and positive experience.”

“I really liked the mix of education, personalized plans and listening to the clients concerns and feedback. The post session goal sheet and handout were a great way to take the session with me and I still refer back to all of them. The tone was always positive which I appreciated, even when I did not have a great week or meet my goals etc.”

— Erin F.

“Rachel is easy to work with, knowledgeable and very supportive. She keeps it real and keeps me accountable.”

“Rachel helped me completely shift the way I think about food. I used to let the decision of what to eat weigh on me at every meal time. It added stress to my everyday that I couldn't see for the longest time. In working with Rachel through the whys and the hows, I feel completely free to to not have every meal planned out and to be spontaneous with meal choices and even timing of meals. I don't constantly think about the next meal anymore and am able to enjoy whatever food I want to any day of the week without having to "deserve" any particular food!

I let Rachel in on my known challenges and trusted her as soon as I met her. Together we worked through realization of a lot of other challenges I didn't even know I was facing. She helped me build so much confidence in how I feel about myself and food. She made me feel heard.

Thanks for all the help and support and love on my journey, I literally could not have done it without you!”

“When I started my journey with Rachel, I was struggling to see results despite trying many different avenues for nutrition and exercise (still had poor body image/confidence and was not getting the toned look I hoped for). With Rachel’s help over the past several months, I’ve been able to make better choices regarding meals and snacking and found a fitness routine that works for me. I have lost a small amount of weight, but am finally seeing improvements in toning my body and feeling confident. I am excited to start the new year with everything I’ve learned with Rachel and continue on this positive trend.

I have really benefitted from Rachel tailoring sessions to my needs and being very relatable since we’re similar ages. She never makes me feel bad about not following our plan exactly, and has adjusted it along the way to make the plan work for me. She works around my “pain points” to create a system that still allows for results. I really appreciate the email summaries she provides after our sessions that I can use as a reference point for working toward my goals.

Navigating nutrition and fitness in a diet culture-focused world can be very challenging, but Rachel has helped me break down my personal nutrition and exercise habits to find a routine that works for me. Rachel helped me achieve goals that I wasn’t able to reach on my own despite trying many approaches, and she always kept a positive and supporting attitude throughout our work together! Thank you Rachel for working with me in 2022 and I’m looking forward to 2023!”

“Rachel was tremendous. On the road to eating better, we have all tricked ourselves to think that we must eat only certain foods or have to eliminate other foods from our diet. Rachel changed my mindset to realize that was not the case. That if we could better match foods to create a more well-balanced meal, then we could be successful in reaching our goals. I truly enjoyed my experience and would recommend Rachel to anyone.”

[I most enjoyed] how comfortable I was talking with her! Like I said, it felt like I was talking with a friend who could easily relate and understand. It didn't feel clinical. I loved how she celebrated my wins with me and called me out when I was using unhelpful rhetoric.

The relationship you have with your dietitian is very unique and not one size fits all. What worked for me and Rachel won't necessarily work for other potential clients, and I know that Rachel is aware of that. I loved how our first "session" was just us chatting about my goals and seeing if we were even a right for each other. Luckily, we were!

I am so incredibly thankful for the year I spent working with Rachel. I hope more people struggling with finding their food freedom take the plunge like I did, it's worth it!”

— Sarah L.

“Rachel helped me understand how to properly eat before working out depending on the type of exercise. We examined my meals and my eating habits and went over the hate relationship that I had against carbohydrates, now I include a bit of carbs in every meal/snack. Also got some insights on my metabolic heart rate zones which I've been tracking since then.”

“As always, so great to catch up with you and thank you again for being such a huge support to me on this incredible journey of self-discovery and dare I say, self-love… I’ve learned and grown so much in ways that I never really expected and truly is in part because of you and your guidance, sharing and support along the way.”

[Rachel] is very kind and relatable. I like that she lets the conversation flow wherever it goes during each session - I always feel like I can bring up whatever is on my mind. I find the email summaries she sends after each session very helpful so I appreciate that.

She took the time to ask why I felt guilty about certain things and helped show me how harsh I was sometimes being on myself. She has also made a point to make me feel like she recognizes the progress I have made even when I do not feel like I have.”

“I am most proud of achieving food neutrality and no longer having "bad" labels on food. I've learned so much about balancing my snacks and meals that are additive vs deprivation. My restrict/binge cycle has improved immensely.

I love [Rachel’s] no-judgement, informal style of conversation. She adapts our sessions based on how I'm feeling which makes me feel heard. I have learned so much and I love the practical application of my goals which has helped me make more tangible progress.

Rachel has been wonderful and I have enjoyed my journey with her so much. I would not have made so much progress in my ED and relationship with food and body without her.”

“Rachel is a kind, amiable, and empathetic dietetics provider. Her past experiences, relatability, and overall fund of knowledge provides a truly seamless approach to a very challenging and misunderstood topic. As a medical professional myself, it was an invaluable experience working with Rachel on a topic I wish I received more education in. She was able to assist my thought processes around food and disordered eating, and gave me power back when it came to my food choices. I would highly recommend working with Rachel.

Her relatability, empathy, and understanding. Even if she hadn’t experienced my struggle or issue with food or body image- she was able to give excellent feedback and guidance to help change my thought process in recovering with a disordered relationship with food and body dysmorphia. She was able to give insight in a non judgmental way.”

“Rachel is such a positive person and knows how to address potentially sensitive topics. She is very knowledgeable and works well to understand clients circumstances and work with them towards their goals.

I only worked with Rachel for a couple months but she helped me so much in that short time. Whenever nutrition comes up in conversation I always tell people about her!”

“Working with Rachel has absolutely exceeded my expectations of what working with an intuitive eating nutritionist would be like. I was skeptical at first since I came from a place of constant yo-yo dieting and I was upset about having recently gained back a lot of weight. What I really wanted was to lose it, but decided it was about time I give a long-term solution a try, and I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life before and I attribute so much of it to working with Rachel. There's so much mental energy I've freed up from thinking about food all the time to do other things! I'm incredibly grateful to Rachel for helping me along my nutrition and body image/self-worth journey.”

“It has been and still continues to be such an amazing journey of self discovery. Learning how food and physical activity go hand and hand and stepping into a new decade while working with Rachel was essential! She helped me face menopause with grace and confidence.

As I mentioned, this has been a journey for me, not only as a women but as an "older" woman.. she truly has been so amazing to work with and I call my appointments with Rachel more than just my Nutrition meetings, but my monthly therapy sessions! Food and what and how our bodies react to food is all encompassing.. I have learned so much over the past year and I look forward to continuing my journey while I gracefully step into this next stage of my life. Working with Rachel is a huge part in my personal health success and I am so grateful for her and all she has taught me.”

“Rachel helped me be able to eat food that nourished me without guilt or shame. She helped me out of a very restrictive diet and gain back autonomy over my body and food choices. I cannot speak about her highly enough. I have been struggling my whole life with disordered eating and I feel so grateful for her patience and gentleness with me as well as her knowledge. I finally have enough energy to live my life without fearing the scale. I feel so differently about my body in a positive way. I cannot imagine what life would be like if she hadn't worked with me through this.

[I’m most proud of] unlearning fat-phobia and dispelling harmful myths about food being "good" or "bad". I appreciate her expertise with eating disorders and the HAES model to facilitate recovery.”
